BioWhy do I write write the dark write the dangerous?
Why do I play walk the thin line play the deadly games?
Why do I stand take a standpoint step the soapbox?
Why?
Freak-child, banger-bitch, nympho, weirdo, nerd.
I took in the labels took them over made them me.
I hid in the shadows shadowed their movements bought myself a spotlight.
I walked on the fringes danced on the fringes made fringes my stage.
Ugly, stupid, strange, "the smart one:" me.
Dark became a hobby hobbies became darker darkness looked like light.
I explored on the sidelines sidelined the normal dove into my psyche with a torch;
I took what was in there took my twisted gray matter made the thing an act.
Freak-child, banger-bitch, nympho, weirdo, nerd.
This act this act of darkness led to thinking, self-analysis.
"Dark" defined as dangerous defined as deviant defined as weird.
"Weird" defined as abnormal defined as not-them, defined as good.
Above, beyond, better: smarter, darker, deeper.
So I wrote, wrote the dark, wrote the dangerous.
Following myself, walked that thin line, played my own games:
I took in the darkness made it my image made that image me.
